What is Time Technology and what do we do?

Time Technology, a cloud-based communications, collaboration and VoIP company, delivers carrier-class communications solutions “as a service” from the cloud. We maintain services that keep your organization well-connected and up-to-date with the latest technology. Our advanced Hosted PBX services enable your business to take advantage of additional features such as customized call flow, mobile device integration, online faxing, auto attendants and many more!

Why should you switch to our Hosted PBX system?

Our system future-proofs your business communications while adding countless new features to maximize productivity. Our clients enjoy free software updates as well as a maintenance-free phone system.

Can I reuse my current phone equipment?

We recommend switching out your existing equipment entirely so that you take full advantage of all the features our Hosted PBX offers. Or, another popular and more affordable route is to use the desktop and mobile app instead of purchasing new equipment. This option saves money and desk space!

What are the desktop and mobile apps?

Our phone system allows you to integrate your business voice, video, presence, instant messaging and email into a single platform for desktop and mobile devices. With the apps, you are able to take your business calls at any time, from anywhere, on any device!

What are the minimum requirements for computers to run the desktop app? How do I communicate?

PCs must run Windows 7 or later; Macs must run OS X 10.7 Lion or later. A microphone/speaker or a headset must be installed to make and receive calls on a computer.

What are the minimum requirements for mobile devices to run the app?

The mobile app works on any Android or iOS device. It works on tablets, too!

What is the required Internet bandwidth speed needed to run your service?

The bandwidth required to run the system is very minimal. Most of our clients use their existing bandwidth speed with no issues.

Minimum required bandwidth speed is 100 Kbps Up and Down (per call). Recommended bandwidth speed is 3 Mbps Up and Down (per call).

How does the online faxing service work?

Our online faxing service allows you to send and receive faxes anytime, anywhere, from any mobile device — laptop, tablet or smartphone.

How reliable is Time Technology?

We offer carrier-grade quality communications backed by a fully redundant nationwide network. Simply put, this means that we provide traditional landline reliability without the cost.

What happens if my Internet gets disconnected?

In the event of a power or network outage, you forward calls to your mobile app or to another phone.

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes. You may transfer your current number(s) to your new service through a process known as porting. We require a Letter of Agency (LOA) signed by the accountholder to move your service to our hosted system.

How long does the switchover process take?

The process usually concludes in 2 – 3 weeks. Time Technology completes most of the programming and setup at our facility, ensuring a quick and seamless cutover when the system is brought on-site.
